Digital Design
These digital designs are deeply inspired by the beauty and diversity of nature, drawing influence from different natural elements such as leaves, flowers, and organic forms. Each pattern explores how these motifs can be stylised and reimagined through colour and composition, creating a balance between natural softness and digital precision. All designs were created in Photoshop and are multi-directional, allowing the patterns to flow seamlessly from every angle and making them suitable for a range of textile applications.
The colour palette is earthy yet vibrant, reflecting the tones found in the natural environment. Warm terracotta, deep greens, muted teals, and soft neutrals are paired with subtle pops of coral and rust, capturing the contrast between foliage, blooms, and the Australian landscape. These hues complement one another and help convey a grounded, organic aesthetic while still maintaining a contemporary feel. The two white squares feature my original hand-drawn motifs, created on my iPad, which were later developed into the repeat patterns seen throughout the collection—showcasing the transformation from hand-drawn detail to fully realised digital design.
